What a weekend we had! Saturday was booked with baseball games but Sunday we reserved for a family fun day by visiting the Philly Brick Fest Live event. The kids love attending any event that has to do with Lego, so I knew this would be a hit and it definitely was! We stayed for nearly the entire exhibit time and the kids were thrilled. We even let the boys be the navigators!
Some of our favorites included:
Red Brick Pool
This is perfect for the little ones. BGB had a blast building towers while the boys were checking out the many tables around the exhibit.
The kids were able to add to existing LEGO cities by building custom creations. BGB didn’t quite get the theme of the stations but she had a blast building anyway. The boys were diving right in to make sure they had their creations on the table.
Glow in the Dark Legos
This was fun for all ages. It was so neat to see the glowing Lego creations. Jell Fish, DNA, and other fun items!
Meeting fun characters
The boys were beyond excited when they met one of their favorite Minecraft characters – Steve! And this was the first time BGB was excited to see someone dressed in character garb – this was a big milestone for her!
Checking out some of the Lego Video games
I was very impressed how everyone stuck to the rule of playing for a little bit but then giving other kids a turn. Even my boys!
Meeting the New Jersey Ghostbuster team!
Cbear even had the chance to become a member of the team! He loved it!
There were so many great vendors there, and amazing Lego sets to see. You can’t help but be impressed with some of these amazing creations! Check out Brick Fest Live for an event in a city near you!
